Radical Face
The reasoning behind Radical Face Ben Cooper thought was "thought it was kinda funny". His music is mellow indie kind of sound I guess you would say. He released a six track EP in November 2010 which is only a little taste of his new album to come in October 2011 which is called Family Tree. I am definitely interested to hear what this album is going to sound like. All of his past tracks are amazing.

Bon Iver Live at the Shrine Auditorium
Last night I went to the Shrine Auditorium, Downtown Los Angeles to see Bon Iver with my friend Vincent. I wasn't really sure what to except from this kind of show, his music is definitely mellow so I wasn't really getting "pumped" for the show. I heard the venue was beautiful, but it was AMAZING the ceiling and chandelier were beautiful. The acoustics in auditorium are great, you could hear every instrument being played. Other Lives opened the show, I have heard of them before so I was stoked that I got to see their set. Although, I was late, (parking was difficult) but I got hear my favorite song Dust Bowl. That was just a taste of the great sounds we would be hearing. Shortly after Bon Iver came on and OH MY GOODNESS what an amazing band (consists of 9 musicians, and a billion different instruments). Justin Vernon's voice is seriously something I have never heard of before. The range he has is breath taking. I am happy that I finally get to cross Bon Iver off my list of bands I MUST see.

Tijuana Panthers & Fool's Gold at The Troubadour
Thursday September 29 I am going to go see Fool's Gold, and Tijuana Panthers at the Troubadour. I don't know to much about these to bands, I have probably heard a couple songs, but I am in the mood to go to a random concert! I feel like it is ALWAYS fun going to shows where you love the artist but it is also WAY fun to go to shows where you don't really know about the artist. Shows for me are not just about the show but the fans, I like to see how fans react to the music. The vibes are always amazing at shows. I am really excited to hear Tijuana Panthers, I hear they are really good surfer garage band kinda music. We will see! I will try to take photos!

Polish Girl - Neon Indian
Neon Indian presents us with an amazing music video, you can watch it also on the Creators Project website/youtube. This is kind of what I picture when I was listening to this song. This music video fits perfectly with the song.
The Kooks Show in Long Beach
Never thought I would see the day! The Kooks are playing in MY home town, Long Beach. They are even playing at the record store I always go too. Fingerprints on 2nd Street in Belmont Shores. SEPTEMBER 19th. I am ooozing with sadness though that this AMAZING night has to be the same night that I am going to Bon Iver!!! I am completely torn, but I have already seen The Kooks and not yet Bon Iver so I have to way my pros and cons. If anyone is able to go please film the set, I would love to watch it.
Here is more information about this:

Coyote Kisses
Imagine The Glitch Mob but 10000 times better. I mean I am a HUGE fan of The Glitch Mob. Coyote Kisses is Glitch-Step kind of music. I think everyone should listen to them. They remind me of something The Do Lab would present.
Amanda Blank
What can I say, she is amazing. Her music is Electronic, and funky. She has opened for Peaches (one of my favorites), Yeah Yeah Yeahs, & Santigold.

Guster
Created in 1991 this four man band is from Boston, MA. The first time I heard one of their songs was through the movie Disturbia, I believe the song was "One Man Wrecking Machine". SO GOOD. Ever since then I have a fan of Guster. I personally like the so "Happier".
I love this song so much I will give you a free download. LSTN to it loud.. for me.

The Do Lab
This post is dedicated to The Do Lab, this Los Angeles based company understands the meaning of music and creates the right perfect interactive environments for music. The Do Lab knows how to create a memorable experience for concert goers. For the past three years that I have been going to Coachella Valley Music & Art Festival, I always make a point to stop by The Do Lab. They design a place for not just the artists and performers but for the crowds as well. I remember as I was walking into to The Do Lab area the vibes I got off of the everyone were just insane. It is apparent that everyone there loves music, and the energy one another get off from each other is contagious. I believe there is nothing more important than keeping your audience pumped, and vibing. The do Lab's creativity let alone amazes me, the structures they build are breathe taking. Also knowing that all their creations are from natural materials, found objects and sustainable resources. Not to long ago I won tickets to go see The Glitch Mob at Club Nokia (thanks to Amoeba Records), and it just so happens that The Do Lab was part of creating this event. Since that show I have not stopped thinking about what a great night I had. I was able to get front row, now I was afraid if by being front row my experience would be compromised and I
wouldn't be able to dance, but I was wrong. The people there gave everyone enough room to feel dance and feel the music. Although I kept catching myself going into a daze and just staring at the lights, and the energy The Glitch Mob was giving off. It was incredible show, by far one of the best concerts I have been too. The Do Lab is truly an amazing company, they have inspired me in so many ways. Their out looks, and creativity inspires me to go out there and create something for myself and others. I was undecided in what I want to do for a career but since these past experiences I now realize I want to be apart of something like The Do Lab.
