Egbert Dawkins III or better known as Aloe Blacc has made me fall in love with his voice with his soul/rapper/ja artistic vibes. I think everyone knows him for his song I Need a Dollar. While I was researching him I discovered that he is actually from where I am from! No other than Orange County, that makes me love his music even more. This weekend he is play at Jubilee which is held in LA, I recommend if you have the time to go check this guy out. I have been watching over 4 hours of Glastonbury 2011 live, and I watched his set and it was SO GOOD. He is incredibly talented and if you love music and good vibes I assure you, you will love his music.

Been listening to Miami Horror for some time now, and just thought I would LOVE to share them! They are an indietronica Australian band from Melbourne, Victoria. They have remixed some great songs, and their songs have been remixed really well too. I think I discovered them through their song they did with Kimbra, I Look To You. I LOVE their song Holidays. Hope to see a tour in the US sometime soon! I would for sure go to one of their shows if it's in the LA area. Take these FREE downloads and listen!! Miami Horror is so good.

Check out Chasing Kings at Jubilee Music Festival this weekend in LA. If I were going to the show I would not miss their set on Sunday. They have some really great songs, and I have seen them live once or twice before and the shows are always fun and great vibes. One of my favorite songs by them is Empathy. The link is to their rather funny music video for the song. Anyways below is a free downloads of their new songs, which are SO GOOD. HOLLYWOOD SIGN

Yesterday I took my friend Melissa and I to Runyon Canyon to hike to the Hollywood sign. We got as legally close as we could, but as you can see in my picture there were some foreigners that went over the fence to the sign. I would have LOVED to do that but there were to many cameras surrounding the sign that I don't see how they could not get in trouble! Anyways the hike was easy, it was in the 80s and it was the perfect hike. I recommend going on this hike to anyone! The view was incredible and the peace and quite from the busy LA streets.

Saw that this band is playing this weekend at Jubilee Music Festival in Silverlake, LA. I recommend anyone that is going to this mini music fest to go early and check out Wildcat Wildcat. They are so good, and wildly known for their song Mr. Quiche. Not only is the song WAY good, the music video is SO cute. So please, check out this really awesome band. PLEASE take the two free downloads, and fall in love with their music.

I have been meaning to share I Blame Coco with you guys, just been oober busy, and neglecting my blog. Anyways, my favorite song is Please Rewind (video below). Eliot Sumner is the lead singer, and is an English musician. Her first album, The Constant, was released in the UK back in 2010. In my process of researching her, I discovered that she is the daughter of musician Sting!!! AKA one of my favorite oldies of all time! Like are you kidding me! She just got like 20 times more amazing, I encourage you all to go check out her work because she is extremely talented.
