I went to the Dodgers Game because my friend got tickets to the game with VIP and really close seating. Going to this game (even though I'm not a huge sports fan) was the best decision of my life. I ran into JACK WHITE in the stadium club lounge area. when I first saw him I didn't believe myself that that was him. Words cannot describe of how big of a fan I am to him, with out a doubt I was the biggest nervous basket going up to him. He called me sweetie, and I nearly died. He must have thought I was some wimpy girly fan. I am so happy.

Another great day at Jubilee! I saw so many bands, some were new to me, some were strange, some were amazing, but I enjoyed them all. The bands in the photos are INCAN ABRAHAM, MAYA JUPITER, ALOE BLACC. Incan Abraham was the first band we saw for the day, and I had no idea who they were but I really liked their music! It was a great way to start my Jubilee day. Then I ended my day with Maya Jupiter and Aloe Blacc. One of the best parts of the those two sets was during Maya Jupiter (Aloe Blacc's wife) he was watching her set right next to me. Inside I was freaking out, I didn't ask for a photo or anything because he was with his family from what it looked liked. Those two were magical, they made me so happy watching them. Aloe Blacc was a great way to end the weekend.

What an amazing weekend!! The photos above are just from the first day, Saturday. Bands above are AUTOLUX, and KINKY. I saw a lot more bands Saturday but didn't take as many photos, to busy dancing I guess. I recommend checking out Kinky, they were so good live, such great vibes. First time at Jubilee and first day at Jubilee, I would say it was very successful. I even got to go home with a guitar pic from Eugene that he gave to my and friend. He was so nice.

Last night at Jubilee in LA I saw Kinky, and had no idea who they were before last night. THEY ARE SO GOOD. I mean really, I was literally about to leave Jubilee after Autolux played but then this band caught my attention. Not only were they high energy but the crowd was going insane! It was a huge dance party, and completely fun. This band is from Monterrey, Mexico and majority of their songs are sung Spanish and sound so sexy & and I have NO idea what he is saying. The lead singer is Gilberto Cerezo, and I believe Ulises Lozano was the accordion player, he stole the show with that accordion. It was amazing. If I had to name their genre I would say it's Electronic/alternative rock/dance/latin music.
My friend and I are for sure going to see them next time they are in LA, we are so stoked for their music. I will be looking out for tour dates. I can't wait to see them again!

Egbert Dawkins III or better known as Aloe Blacc has made me fall in love with his voice with his soul/rapper/ja artistic vibes. I think everyone knows him for his song I Need a Dollar. While I was researching him I discovered that he is actually from where I am from! No other than Orange County, that makes me love his music even more. This weekend he is play at Jubilee which is held in LA, I recommend if you have the time to go check this guy out. I have been watching over 4 hours of Glastonbury 2011 live, and I watched his set and it was SO GOOD. He is incredibly talented and if you love music and good vibes I assure you, you will love his music.
Watch his music video that was made in Paris, it's simply divine.

Been listening to Miami Horror for some time now, and just thought I would LOVE to share them! They are an indietronica Australian band from Melbourne, Victoria. They have remixed some great songs, and their songs have been remixed really well too. I think I discovered them through their song they did with Kimbra, I Look To You. I LOVE their song Holidays. Hope to see a tour in the US sometime soon! I would for sure go to one of their shows if it's in the LA area. Take these FREE downloads and listen!! Miami Horror is so good.

Check out Chasing Kings at Jubilee Music Festival this weekend in LA. If I were going to the show I would not miss their set on Sunday. They have some really great songs, and I have seen them live once or twice before and the shows are always fun and great vibes. One of my favorite songs by them is Empathy. The link is to their rather funny music video for the song. Anyways below is a free downloads of their new songs, which are SO GOOD. Of course Nice Guys is a good song, and my favorite is The Safety Zone. Download them!! They are free and great tracks so you must!

Yesterday I took my friend Melissa and I to Runyon Canyon to hike to the Hollywood sign. We got as legally close as we could, but as you can see in my picture there were some foreigners that went over the fence to the sign. I would have LOVED to do that but there were to many cameras surrounding the sign that I don't see how they could not get in trouble! Anyways the hike was easy, it was in the 80s and it was the perfect hike. I recommend going on this hike to anyone! The view was incredible and the peace and quite from the busy LA streets.

Saw that this band is playing this weekend at Jubilee Music Festival in Silverlake, LA. I recommend anyone that is going to this mini music fest to go early and check out Wildcat Wildcat. They are so good, and wildly known for their song Mr. Quiche. Not only is the song WAY good, the music video is SO cute. So please, check out this really awesome band. PLEASE take the two free downloads, and fall in love with their music.

Can you believe that Lana Del Rey and ASAP rocky are working on a collaboration. I LOVE that they are making a song together !!

I have been meaning to share I Blame Coco with you guys, just been oober busy, and neglecting my blog. Anyways, my favorite song is Please Rewind (video below). Eliot Sumner is the lead singer, and is an English musician. Her first album, The Constant, was released in the UK back in 2010. In my process of researching her, I discovered that she is the daughter of musician Sting!!! AKA one of my favorite oldies of all time! Like are you kidding me! She just got like 20 times more amazing, I encourage you all to go check out her work because she is extremely talented.
Unfortunately I am not computer savy to give you guys a free download, I tried finding one but had no luck!

Can't tell you how I found this band but I'm glad I discovered them! I listened to their song Fuck the Beach, and I think it's going to be on my summer 2012 playlist! Little background, Team Spirit is from Brooklyn NYC and has an indie/pop/soul sound to it. Their music makes me want to dance under the sun and go out on summer nights. I want to rave about them more, but unfortunately I still don't know that much about them! Just listen & download their music!

Tonight You're Mine

Last night I saw this film in LA and it was SO good. I like how it is filmed actually during T in the Park Festival, it makes the movie seem more realistic I think. I am sure the filming of this must have been extremely fun. I recommend watching this movie to ANYONE that has ever been to a music festival. I'm a Coachella veteran of four years now, and this film got me stoked for music festivals cause the vibe in this film is great and reminds me of some moments at Coachella.

Last Saturday I got a pair of tickets (thanks to GrimyGoods) to see Black Moth Super Rainbow at the Echoplex, which is below The Echo. WHAT A SHOW! I have been listening to their music since 2009 and never really thought about going to see them live. They finally did a show in LA, which isn't very common. I not only got to them, I got to see them for FREE! The band that opened for them was WAY good, their band name is escaping my mind at the moment, but I want to for sure do a post about them. Anyways, the photo above is of the lead singer (of the bands name I forgot) during the Black Moth Super Rainbow's set. I was so shocked that at least five people successfully crowd surfed to BMSR.

RAC - Hollywood (featuring Penguin Prison)

I am a HUGE longtime fan of anything RAC produces so when I heard this song, oh 5 minutes ago I had to share it with you all. When ever Penguin Prison and RAC create a song I ALWAYS fall in love with the beat.

So happy to come across his music while listening to Matt & Kim playlist on Pandora! Mike Rosenburg is a folk artist of Passenger, and is from Brighton, UK. I hope there is a US tour in the near future because that would be a beautiful sounding concert.

This is my FAVORITE song.
